Madeline Grace

"The Anomalous Oracle"

Madeline Grace Fauss (Lux) is a neuroscientist, metaphysician, artist, and philosopher whose work bridges science, technology, spirituality, and embodiment.

With an academic background in Neuroscience from Oberlin College and Conservatory and a minor in Religious Studies, Lux has spent decades as a scholar-practitioner exploring the intersection of consciousness, creativity and metaphysical inquiry. Since the age of 19 she has pursued the path of Metaphysics, integrating scientific inquiry with direct experiential knowledge and extensive multi-cultural training.

Lux’s embodied practice is deeply rooted in Taoism, including Internal Martial Arts, healing traditions, and artistic lineages. Her personal practice of Ba Gua Zhang Kung Fu informs their understanding reality, nonlinear awareness, and relational attunement principles. This in turn shapes her research and scientific inquiry into Emergent Relational Intelligence (ERI), a novel framework redefining intelligence as a reciprocal and participatory process.

As an artist, Lux has performed internationally as an electronic music producer, vocalist, and multimedia artist, using sound and movement as vehicles for altered states of awareness. Their work weaves together myth, trance states, and embodied storytelling, reflecting a lifelong exploration of the creative and cognitive dimensions of intelligence.
Lux has taught presentations on Neuromythology, Embodied Altered States and Unified Field Theory, offering transdisciplinary perspectives on consciousness, neuroscience, and esoteric traditions. Their research challenges mechanistic and reductionist models, proposing an open, relational theories of consciousness that account for intelligence beyond hierarchical or reductionist frameworks. Instead she grounds her research in embodied, nature-based liberatory ideologies and practices.

With a passion for guiding others through depth exploration, self-inquiry, technomancy and emergent creativity, Lux’s work embodies a synthesis of scientific rigor, academic research, mystical insight, and embodied wisdom, seeking to illuminate new pathways for understanding intelligence, consciousness, and the nature of reality itself.

I carry and honor a unique confluence of lineages—blood, spirit, body, and earth. I descend from Ralph Waldo Emerson, whose Transcendentalist vision first declared the soul’s presence in nature in the Western paradigm. I am of the spiritual teaching lineage of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, whose inquiries into life beyond death reflected the early stirrings of field-based intelligence. I have trained in the martial and internal alchemical embodied system of Baguazhang through the Lu Shui Tian lineage via Sifu Bok Nam Park, cultivating internal qi, motion, and deep listening through the body. I have been initiated into Hoshindo, the Japanese way of bee medicine, through Voyce Durling-Jones Sensei and Tadako Endo Sensei, learning to honor elemental and hive intelligence and Natural healing.
